Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection

We (Transparent Blue Water) do not collect or store personal information, location data, device identifiers, usage analytics, or payment information. Transparent Blue Water does not receive your data. FlowAnalyzer Mobile has no accounts and no ads, and we receive no analytics from the app. Your networks, results, notes, photos and GPS positions stay on your device unless you share a file yourself.

2. Internet Access

The network, the calculation and your files in FlowAnalyzer Mobile work without internet. The optional map background needs a connection. FlowAnalyzer Web requires internet only to access the application.

3. Children's Privacy

The app is not intended for children under 13. Because we do not collect any data, we do not knowingly gather information about children.

4. Third-Party Services

FlowAnalyzer does not use third-party analytics, advertising platforms, cloud storage, or external APIs that process user data, with the exception of the two third-party components in FlowAnalyzer Mobile described below (Google Maps SDK; App Store / Google Play billing). Those components send data directly to Google, or to Apple or Google depending on the store, which handle it under their own privacy policies (for Google, https://policies.google.com/privacy). Transparent Blue Water does not receive that data.

• Map background (optional). FlowAnalyzer includes the Google Maps SDK. When you turn the map background on, the SDK downloads map images for the area you are viewing. Google documents that its Maps SDK may receive your device's IP address, the map area and how you pan and zoom it, device and app information (such as operating system and model), a pseudonymous identifier, performance data and, if the SDK crashes, crash reports. The area you view is usually where your network is located. Google Maps features and content are subject to the then-current Google Maps End User Additional Terms of Service (https://maps.google.com/help/terms_maps/) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). FlowAnalyzer does not send Google your GPS position, your files, or your network's elements, notes or photos.
• Purchases. Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their own policies; we never see your payment details. On Android, Google Play's billing library also sends Google technical information about how it is used and about its connection to Google Play.

The app shows this notice, with the same two links, the first time you turn the map background on, and under Settings → About.

5. App Permissions

The app does not request access to device features or personal data beyond what is necessary for core functionality.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
